Growing Minds Project Manager - Oxfordshire

This is an exciting opportunity to join a ground-breaking initiative run by three Oxfordshire-based early years charities to address the gap in educational attainment in Oxfordshire. Growing Minds aims to improve school readiness in Littlemore and Berinsfield by providing a continuum of support for families from birth until their child is five.

As the Project Manager for Growing Minds, you will lead on fundraising for the future of the project and make a significant contribution to its strategic direction. You will also be responsible for the operational running of the project, overseeing delivery plans, ensuring smooth working and communication between partners, and reporting to funders.  You’ll have the option to extend your hours and manage other projects within Peeple, delivering services in Oxford supporting parents and children to learn together.

You’ll need to have experience in partnership working and project management, and be ready to rise to the challenge of fundraising for this innovative project.

Location:   Work from home and/or Peeple office in Littlemore, Oxford, with some Oxfordshire-based meetings
Hours:       22.5 to 37 hours per week (over 3, 4 or 5 days/ week)
Duration:   This is a fixed term contract in the first instance, ending July 2023, with possible extension subject to funding.
Salary:       from £30,753 p.a. to £33,961 p.a. pro rata

Nursery Administrator, Oxford (maternity cover)

We have a temporary vacancy for an Administrator in our Little Peeple Nursery. This is a key role to support the managers with the smooth running of the setting and provision of excellent service to parents/carers and children. An enthusiasm for working within an early years setting is essential, as well as sound administration skills.

Location:   Little Peeple Nursery, Littlemore, Oxford
Hours:       22 hours per week as administrator, over 3, 4 or 5 days a week. (Optional: The post can be made full-time if you prefer, by working 2 days a week as a Childcare Assistant in the Nursery.)
Duration:   from August 2022 for up to 12 months
Salary:      from £19,255 to 21,392 p.a. pro rata (according to experience)
